ALGN Pilates, LLC (“ALGN Pilates,” “ALGN,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you interact with our website, mobile app, booking platform, studio, events, communications, advertisements, and other services.
By using our website, creating an account, making a purchase, booking a class or session, signing up for communications, or otherwise interacting with ALGN Pilates, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Classes
Class Policies
Late Arrival
To protect your safety and minimize disruption, clients must arrive no later than 5 minutes after the scheduled start time for group classes.
If you are more than 5 minutes late, you will not be admitted and your reservation will be treated as a no-show.
New clients should arrive at least 15 minutes early so our team can introduce you to the studio, equipment, and safety procedures.
New clients who miss the beginning of class may not be permitted to participate.
Booking Classes
Classes may be booked through the ALGN Pilates app, website, or another booking method authorized by ALGN.
A valid membership credit, class pack credit, promotional credit, or other eligible purchase is required to reserve a class.
Booking windows may vary depending on membership or purchase type.
You are responsible for managing your own reservations, cancellations, and waitlist activity.
Unused membership credits do not roll over unless expressly stated as part of your membership.
Classes, instructors, schedules, formats, and availability are subject to change.
Waitlist
If a class is full, you may join the waitlist through your ALGN account.
If you are moved from the waitlist into class, the standard cancellation and no-show policies apply.
You are responsible for monitoring your waitlist reservations and removing yourself from a waitlist if you can no longer attend.
If you are not added to class, your credit will remain subject to its original expiration and purchase terms.
Attire + Grip Socks
Comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move safely is recommended.
Grip socks are required for reformer classes.
Regular socks are not permitted on the reformer.
Grip socks may be available for purchase at the studio.
Age Requirement
Group classes are generally available to clients age 16 and older.
Clients ages 16 and 17 must have a parent or legal guardian complete all required consent and waiver documentation before participation.
Additional age requirements may apply to certain classes, services, or events.
Participation by younger clients may be permitted for private instruction or other designated programming with advance approval.
Phones + Recording Devices
Phones and personal recording devices should remain with your belongings during class.
If you need to handle an urgent call or message, please step outside of the class area when it is safe to do so.
For the privacy of our clients and instructors, recording a full class, instructor instruction, programming, or other clients is not permitted without prior approval.
Photos and personal videos may be taken before or after class when they do not interfere with studio operations or the privacy of others.
Pets
Pets are not permitted inside the studio, except for service animals as required by applicable law.
Heated Classes
Certain ALGN classes may take place in a heated studio using infrared heat.
Actual studio temperature may vary depending on attendance, environmental conditions, and other factors.
Participation in heated exercise places additional demands on the body.
Please:
- Arrive hydrated
- Bring water
- Take breaks when needed
- Notify your instructor of relevant physical or medical concerns
- Leave the heated room if you feel dizzy, faint, nauseated, or otherwise unwell
Clients with medical conditions that may be affected by heat or strenuous exercise should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before participating.
Mats, Towels + Rentals
For classes requiring a mat or towel, please bring the items identified in the class description.
ALGN Pilates may offer mats, towels, or other equipment for rent at the then-current rental rate.
Rental availability and pricing are subject to change.
Cancellation + Fees
Cancellation + No-Show Policies
Quick Reference: Cancel group classes at least 12 hours before class to avoid a late cancellation fee or loss of your class credit. Please manage cancellations through the ALGN app or your online account. Social media messages do not count as cancellations.
Group Class Cancellation
Group classes must be cancelled at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time.
If you cancel within the 12-hour window, the applicable late-cancellation policy will apply.
Class Packs, Drop-Ins + Promotional Credits
If you booked using a class pack, drop-in, introductory offer, or promotional credit:
- A late cancellation may result in forfeiture of the class credit.
- A no-show may result in forfeiture of the class credit.
Membership Late Cancellation + No-Show Fees
Unless different terms are disclosed for your specific membership:
Late cancellation: $15
No-show: $25
A reservation missed because you arrive more than 5 minutes after class begins may be treated as a no-show.
Additional Cancellation Information
You are responsible for cancelling your own reservations.
Cancellations should be made through the ALGN Pilates app or online booking account whenever possible.
Cancellations sent through Instagram, Facebook, social media comments, or other unofficial channels are not accepted.
Please contact the studio directly if a technical issue prevents you from accessing your account.
Private + Semi-Private Cancellation
Private and semi-private sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
A late cancellation or no-show may result in forfeiture of the session credit or charge of the full session price.
Payment
ALGN Pilates accepts electronic payment methods supported through our studio and booking systems.
A valid payment method may be required for purchases and membership accounts.
Refund Policy
Except where otherwise stated or required by law:
- Class purchases are final
- Membership charges already processed are final
- Class packs are non-refundable
- Private and semi-private sessions are non-refundable
- Promotional purchases are non-refundable
- Credits are non-transferable
- Purchases may not be shared between client accounts
- Unused credits have no cash value
ALGN Pilates may issue an account credit or other accommodation when appropriate, including in connection with a studio billing error, studio-initiated cancellation, documented emergency, or other extraordinary circumstance.

Membership Terms
Membership Billing + Payment
Membership pricing, included classes, billing terms, benefits, and any applicable commitment period will be disclosed before purchase.
Membership charges are processed using the payment method associated with your account.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.
If payment cannot be processed, booking privileges may be temporarily suspended until the account is brought current.
Payment Authorization
By purchasing a membership or other recurring product, you authorize ALGN Pilates and its payment providers to charge your payment method for amounts that you have expressly authorized.
The specific billing and renewal terms presented at checkout form part of your agreement with ALGN Pilates.
Membership Renewal
Any renewal option applicable to your membership will be disclosed before purchase.
Where a membership requires your acceptance of a renewal or continuation option, ALGN Pilates will obtain that acceptance as required by applicable law.
Applicable disclosures may include:
- Membership price
- Billing frequency
- Initial commitment period, if any
- Renewal or continuation terms
- Cancellation method
- When cancellation becomes effective
Membership Credits
Unless your membership specifically states otherwise:
- Membership credits are issued for the applicable billing period
- Unused credits do not roll over
- Credits expire at the end of the applicable billing period
- Credits have no cash value
- Credits cannot be transferred or shared
Membership Cancellation
Membership cancellation rights, notice requirements, and effective dates are governed by the specific membership agreement accepted at purchase and applicable law.
Cancellation requests must be submitted using an authorized cancellation method.
ALGN Pilates will provide legally required cancellation methods for memberships subject to Maryland consumer protection requirements.
Membership Changes
Membership upgrade or downgrade requests are subject to the terms of your membership.
Approved changes generally apply to a future billing period rather than retroactively changing a completed billing cycle.
Freeze Policy
Eligible memberships may be frozen subject to ALGN Pilates's then-current freeze policy.
Freeze eligibility, timing, duration, notice requirements, and any applicable fees may vary by membership.
The terms applicable to your freeze will be provided when the freeze is requested.
Credit Card on File
A valid payment method may be required to maintain an active membership and reserve services.
If your payment method expires or fails, you are responsible for updating your account.
Class Packs
Class packs:
- Must be used before their stated expiration date
- Are non-transferable
- Cannot be shared
- Have no cash value
- Are subject to ALGN Pilates cancellation and no-show policies
The specific expiration date will be disclosed when the pack is purchased.
Founding Memberships + Promotional Offers
ALGN Pilates may periodically offer:
- Founding Memberships
- Presale memberships
- New-client offers
- Introductory offers
- Promotional class packs
- Trials
- Discounted memberships
- Complimentary classes
- Referral offers
- Special events
- Limited-time promotions
Each offer may have separate terms relating to:
- Eligibility
- Purchase period
- Availability
- Activation
- Expiration
- Pricing
- Included classes
- Benefits
- Cancellation
- Renewal or continuation
- Transferability
- New-client status
- Participating classes or services
The specific terms displayed with an offer at the time of purchase form part of your agreement with ALGN Pilates.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional offers:
- Cannot be combined with other offers
- Have no cash value
- Are non-transferable
- Cannot be applied retroactively
- May be limited to one per client
- Are subject to availability
- Remain subject to ALGN Pilates booking, cancellation, and studio policies
Founding Memberships
Founding Memberships are limited promotional memberships associated with the opening of ALGN Pilates.
The applicable Founding Membership price, class allotment, benefits, purchase period, activation requirements, and any price protections are only those expressly stated in the offer presented at purchase.
The words “Founding,” “Founder,” or “Founding Member” do not independently create a lifetime price guarantee or lifetime benefit unless that guarantee is expressly included in the applicable offer terms.
Once the Founding Membership promotion closes, ALGN Pilates may discontinue the offer for new purchasers without affecting contractual benefits previously granted to existing Founding Members.
Introductory Offers
Introductory or new-client offers may be restricted to individuals who have not previously purchased or used ALGN Pilates services.
The applicable:
- Price
- Purchase window
- Activation requirement
- Expiration
- Number of classes
- Eligibility requirements
- Renewal or conversion terms will be disclosed with the applicable offer.
If an introductory offer converts or continues into a paid membership, the applicable price and continuation terms will be disclosed before purchase.
Retail + Merchandise
Unless otherwise stated at purchase, retail and merchandise sales are final.
If you receive defective or incorrect merchandise, please contact ALGN Pilates so we can review the issue.
Private + Semi-Private
Training Session Policies
Private and semi-private training is subject to instructor and studio availability.
Private Training
Private sessions are intended for individualized instruction and may be appropriate for clients seeking:
- Personalized programming
- Technique refinement
- Additional equipment instruction
- Support returning to exercise
- Modification of exercises
- Individual goals and progression
ALGN Pilates instructors provide fitness instruction and do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Semi-Private Training
Semi-private sessions are designed for a small number of participants.
Participants may be required to coordinate attendance and scheduling as a group.
Pricing, package requirements, expiration periods, and participant limits will be disclosed at purchase.
Training Cancellation
Private and semi-private sessions require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellation.
Late cancellations and no-shows may result in loss of the session.
Package Expiration
Private and semi-private packages must be used before the expiration date disclosed at purchase.
Unused sessions generally do not roll over or extend beyond the stated expiration period unless otherwise approved by ALGN Pilates or required by law.
Workshops + Special Events
Workshops, community programming, pop-ups, outdoor classes, and special events may have separate booking, cancellation, eligibility, and refund policies.
Those terms will be disclosed with the event.
Studio
Membership Terms

Legal
Agreement + Release
Agreement to Participate + Assumption of Risk
Participation in Pilates, fitness activities, heated classes, private training, studio events, and use of exercise equipment involves inherent risk.
These risks may include:
- Muscle strains
- Sprains
- Falls
- Joint injuries
- Back or neck injuries
- Dizziness
- Heat-related illness
- Aggravation of an existing condition
- Equipment-related injuries
- Serious physical injury
- Other foreseeable or unforeseeable harm
By voluntarily participating in ALGN Pilates services, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with exercise and use of fitness equipment.
You agree to follow instructor directions, use equipment appropriately, and stop participating if you believe continuing would be unsafe.
Release of Liability
Participation in ALGN Pilates services may require completion of a separate liability waiver or participation agreement.
Any separately signed or electronically accepted waiver is incorporated into your agreement with ALGN Pilates.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ALGN Pilates is not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from inherent risks of voluntary participation, misuse of equipment, failure to follow safety instructions, or undisclosed conditions.
Nothing in these Terms waives or limits rights that cannot legally be waived or limited.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, or expenses resulting from your own intentional misconduct, misuse of equipment, violation of these Terms, or actions that cause injury or property damage to another person.
Intellectual Property
ALGN Pilates's:
- Name
- Logos
- Branding
- Photography
- Video
- Website content
- Marketing materials
- Educational materials
- Class materials
- Proprietary programming
may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, sell, publish, distribute, record, or commercially exploit ALGN Pilates content without authorization.
Purchasing a class, membership, or service does not transfer ownership of ALGN Pilates intellectual property.
Digital Services
The ALGN Pilates website, app, booking platform, and other digital services are provided on an available basis.
Temporary outages, maintenance, technology failures, or third-party interruptions may occur.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the State of Maryland and applicable federal law.
Changes to These Terms
ALGN Pilates may update these Studio Policies + Terms periodically.
Updates will apply prospectively beginning on the effective date identified on this page unless otherwise stated.
Changes to general studio policies do not retroactively eliminate contractual rights expressly granted under an existing purchase or membership agreement.
Material changes affecting membership agreements will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
