We're looking for passionate, skilled teachers who want to grow.
Whether you recently completed your yoga teacher training or have years of experience, we're looking for instructors who are ready to refine their craft, build community, and be part of something bigger than a class schedule.
You don't need to know everything yet, but you need to be curious, coachable, and committed to becoming an excellent teacher.
At ALGN, our approach to yoga is modern, athletic, and movement-focused. We emphasize strength, mobility, flexibility, breathwork, and intentional movement rather than traditional spiritual or ceremonial practices.
Certifications + Experience
- 200-hour yoga teacher training (RYT-200 or equivalent) required.
- 500-hour certification or additional specialized training strongly preferred.
- Experience teaching Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, or other fitness-forward formats preferred.
- Experience with heated classes is a plus.
- Additional certifications in anatomy, mobility, strength training, Pilates, or pre/postnatal movement are a plus.
What We're Looking For
- Able to deliver clear, confident cueing and thoughtful class sequencing.
- Comfortable teaching athletic, strength-focused yoga classes that challenge clients while remaining accessible.
- Comfortable with beat-based teaching and creating great playlists.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and safe movement progressions.
- Comfortable using verbal, visual, and consent-based hands-on cueing.
- Professional, reliable, kind, grounded, and enthusiastic.
- Musically inclined; you understand how music elevates the experience.
- Relationship-driven: you remember names, notice regulars, and make people feel seen.
- Open and receptive to coaching and continued learning.
- Comfortable adapting traditional yoga instruction to ALGN's contemporary, movement-centered teaching style.
Teaching Opportunities
We offer multiple teaching pathways to honor different strengths and styles. Instructors may teach one or more formats depending on training, experience, ability, and studio clearance:
- Heated + Non-heated Power Yoga
- Heated + Non-heated Yoga Sculpt
- Strength & Mobility-Based Yoga
- Additional specialty classes and workshops as our schedule expands.
Our Teaching Environment
We are warm, supportive, and welcoming. We're also serious about standards, consistency, and excellence.
Our yoga classes are designed to complement our Pilates programming. We prioritize intelligent sequencing, physical conditioning, mindful breathing, and an energizing group experience.
We're looking for instructors who:
- Are intelligent movement educators with a strong understanding of body mechanics.
- Can teach with clarity, confidence, and precision.
- Use verbal, visual, and consent-based hands-on cueing thoughtfully and professionally.
- Balance structure and creativity, strength and safety.
- Understand how to build intensity while offering accessible modifications and progressions.
- Can create a challenging, intentional experience without relying on traditional spiritual language, chanting, or ceremonial elements.
- Are engaged, welcoming, and relationship-driven.
- Are collaborative teammates who believe in contributing to a community.
- Are adaptable and curious, committed to growth and refinement.
What We Offer
- Ongoing training and continuing education.
- Team offsites, events, and community-building.
- A dedicated break room where you can recharge between classes.
- Opportunities for expanded teaching responsibilities, specialty programming, and professional growth.
- A team that actually supports each other, not just a schedule.
Who Thrives Here
We're building a studio where every instructor is thoughtful, highly trained, intelligent in their approach to movement, and deeply invested in helping people feel strong, capable, and cared for.
We believe the best classes aren't just athletic; they are smart, biomechanically sound, emotionally supportive, energizing, and deeply human.
Our instructors create experiences that feel almost like private training inside a group environment: present, observant, and committed to individual needs while leading a powerful room.
You don't have to abandon your yoga background to teach at ALGN. You do need to be excited about bringing your expertise into a modern, fitness-forward environment where movement, strength, and the client experience come first.
Compensation + Benefits
Pay: $40–$50 per hour, based on experience, training, certifications, and teaching scope.
Benefits may include paid time off, complimentary studio classes, continuing education and training opportunities, team events, and access to health insurance for eligible employees.
Additional compensation opportunities may be available based on teaching responsibilities and role scope.
If you love teaching, believe in continued development, and want to be part of a team, not just a schedule, we'd love to meet you.
