Our private studio is equipped with specialized equipment that adjusts for shorter statures and younger bodies, including movable footbars and tailored setups. Private training is ideal for young athletes including dancers, lacrosse players, soccer players, and anyone looking to build strength, alignment, and body awareness early. Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates as a rehabilitation method to strengthen the body from the inside out. It focuses on building long, lean muscles and engaging the deep stabilizing muscles that support your spine and joints. These smaller, intricate muscles don't typically get worked in traditional fitness routines. Pilates emphasizes controlled, fluid movements that connect with your breath to center your body and mind, training you to move better in and out of the studio.
We recommend taking class 2-3 times per week to maximize your results. Consistency keeps you committed to reaching your goals and helps you feel the full benefits of your practice.
Pilates strengthens, stretches, and aligns your body, restoring natural movement patterns and helping you move with ease. It targets the smaller, intricate muscles that support posture, stability, and balance. A regular practice sculpts muscles you didn't know existed, tones your arms, strengthens your core, lifts your glutes, and leaves you feeling powerful and aligned.
